TEE OFF FOR A GREAT CAUSE!

Join us on Thursday, August 28th for The Ben-Gurion University Desert Open at the Lebovic Golf Club.

A day of golf, camaraderie and philanthropy in support of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU). The event will bring together golf enthusiasts, community leaders and supporters of higher education in Israel.

Your participation will help support the vision and mission of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, ensuring students receive the world-class education they deserve.

How to Register

  • Individual Registration: Simply click the “register as a single golfer” button and we’ll place you in a group with other golfers.
  • Foursome Registration: Simply click the “register as a foursome” button.
  • Trophies will be given out for Closest to the Pin, the Longest Drive, Foursome with the Highest Score, Best Female Golfer & Best Male Golfer.
  • The foursome with the lowest score will take home the prestigious David Ben-Gurion Desert Cup! Not only will they claim this coveted trophy, but their names will also be etched in history as the winners of the inaugural Ben-Gurion University Desert Open.

About the Golf Club

Lebovic Golf Course ranked the 3rd best new golf course in 2016 by Golf Digest. It is an 18 hole championship golf course designed by world renowned course architect Doug Carrick. The par 70 layout is set upon 150 acres of rolling hills on the Oak Ridges Moraine in Aurora, Ontario. With breathtaking view and natural beauty, the course challenges both the expert player and novice alike.

  • Maximum Participants - 72 golfers
  • Format - 18 holes of championship golf in a relaxed, fun-filled environment
  • Registration -
    • Foursome (4 players): $1,200
    • Individual Player: $300 (individuals will be grouped with others to form a foursome)

  • Registration & Breakfast - 09:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
  • Call to Carts - 10:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
  • Shotgun Start - 11:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m.
  • Light Lunch and Snacks - 11:30 a.m. – 03:00 p.m.
  • Dinner & Announcement of Winners - 05:00 p.m. – 07:00 p.m.
