As we continue to mourn the loss of our dear friend, Mark Mendelson, z"l we must assure the continuity of BGU Canada, the successful organization that he built with remarkable energy and passion. Following consultation with Immediate Past President Mitchell Oelbaum and other members of the National Executive, Simon Bensimon and Shimmy Wenner have been appointed interim co-managers of BGU Canada.
Simon has been with BGU Canada for 5 years as Executive Director for Montreal and Ottawa and Shimmy for 3 years as Executive Director for Toronto and Atlantic Canada. Both are skilled fundraisers and with many years of experience in gift development for non-profit organizations.
I know you will join me in wishing Simon and Shimmy success in their respective roles.

Marking Ben-Gurion Day in Israel
On November 30, BGU Canada marked Ben-Gurion Day with the release of a special pre-recorded Webinar Wednesdays event that included a tour of the new Ben-Gurion Archives in Sde Boker.
The video was dedicated to the memory of BGU Canada's CEO Mark Mendelson, z"l who passed away suddenly on November 14. The Mark Mendelson Memorial Fund was established shortly after his passing. To learn about the fund or make a donation, click below.

John Molson MBA International Case Competition 2023 is back!
BGU Canada in Montreal is thrilled to announce that students from our university will once again send a team of students to participate in the John Molson MBA International Case Competition. BGU is the only Israeli university that has been participating in this case competition since 2012. All costs associated with the competition are covered by BGU Canada in Montreal.
