Launching the Quebec-Israel Universities Entrepreneurship Fund to encourage joint activities between BGU’s Yazamut 360 Entrepreneurship Centre and Quebec universities. The Fund will add a new dimension in Quebec-Israel relations.

Since her arrival at RBC in 2002, Anne has held a wide range of positions in commercial banking. In recent years, she has held relationship management positions, followed by an associate Vice-President position, in the South Shore of Montreal in 2013, a Vice-President position for the western region of Montreal in 2014 and a present position as vice-president Knowledge-Based Industries for Quebec. Throughout her career, she has propelled the bank forward high levels both with double-digit growth in business volumes, the highest employee engagement and customer satisfaction scores.

Anne is also very committed to the community, especially to the advancement of women in business. She cofounded the Quebec Employees Resources Group for Women in 2015. She is involved in Women in Governance Organization since 2016. She is committed to help young Canadians prepare for their future job as an ambassador’s leader on the Quebec Executive Committee for RBC Future Launch program. She is member of the board for a non-profit organization called Young Leaders Group that helps young teenagers to become legendary founders. Anne has been the co-chair of the RBC-United Way National Campaign for the province of Quebec in 2015 and 2016.

Anne holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Brest, located in France. After which, she completed her MBA at HEC Montreal, in finance and entrepreneurship. As a musician, Anne is very passionate about the arts and creation. She translates her desire to learn, her innate curiosity and her entrepreneurial mindset into remarkable results.

Phil may have an engineering background, but this seasoned entrepreneur got a taste of the startup world fresh out of university. His journey started in the early 90s pre-internet era when he joined Public Technologies Multimedia—a startup that grew from a handful of people, to hundreds of people in just a few short years. Although he launched his career as a programmer, Phil was quickly drawn into the business side of startups and has pursued this vocation ever since. From PTM he joined Locus Dialogue, a speech technologie firm aquired by Nuance Communications. In 2003 Phil decided to start his own business centered on bringing innovation to the enterprise market. Despite his 20+ years of executive experience driving strategic business development, his heart was always in startups so he created a series of events that have now come to be the largest events in Canada for entrepreneurs. Phil is also a board member of the Osmo Foundation, lecturer at McGill University and is the President and Chairman of the Montreal Startup Foundation. Phil is the Founder of Startupfest, the Elevator World Tour, ResolveTO and FWD50.

Dana Gavish-Fridman is the Founder and General Manager of Yazamut360, the award-winning entrepreneurship center of Ben Gurion University of the Negev. She is responsible for all strategic planning and execution of the university’s endeavor to promote and excel entrepreneurship skills and experience to all students and staff.

Dana is also VP Entrepreneurship at BGN Technologies, BGU's Technology Transfer company.

Previously, Dana was VP Marketing at Yissum, the Hebrew University's Technology Transfer company. She has also worked as a television news producer at Israel’s Channel 2 News and at The Associated Press TV, and as a business development manager for two start-up companies. She holds a BA in Political Science and Literature, and an Executive MBA in Integrative Management, both from the Hebrew University.
