At the 55th Board of Governors Meeting held on the Be’er Sheva campus, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) proudly unveiled a state-of-the-art ambulance simulator. This innovative training tool was made possible through funds raised at BGU Canada Toronto’s first inaugural event, The Future is Now Gala. This cutting-edge simulator provides medical students and professionals with hands-on training in a realistic, mobile clinical environment, using advanced mannequins and virtual reality technology to prepare them for real-life emergency situations. As the first of its kind at the university, the simulator represents a significant advancement in medical education and reflects BGU’s commitment to innovation in healthcare training.
The unveiling was attended by BGU President, Professor Daniel Chamovitz and Dr. Oren Wacht, along with board members and staff of BGU Canada, including David Dulberg, Naomi Oelbaum, and Mitchell Oelbaum. Also present were BGU Canada CEO Andrea Freedman, Galit Solomon.
