An Evening with BGU’s Dr. A Mark Clarfield
On the evening of September 10, 2025, BGU Canada Toronto gathered at the home of Richard and Jennifer Goldhar for An Evening with BGU’s Dr. A. Mark Clarfield. The event brought together 100 community members for an engaging and thought-provoking night. Guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and a dessert reception while connecting with fellow supporters of Ben-Gurion University.
Dr. Clarfield, former director of BGU’s Medical School for International Health and current head of the Faculty's Centre for Global Health, delivered a powerful presentation. He addressed the impact of Iranian ballistic missile strikes on BGU, the resilience of students and faculty working in Soroka Hospital laboratories, and Israel’s ongoing efforts to meet the challenges of an aging population.
