On April 1, 2025, over 500 people attended an exclusive pre-screening of the important documentary film, October 8, directed by Emmy Award winner Wendy Sachs. The sold-out event hosted by BGU Canada Toronto & Holy Blossom Temple, took place at TIFF Lightbox in downtown Toronto. Director Wendy Sachs was present for an engaging Q&A session with Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman. It was a successful evening filled with insightful discussion and a strong turnout.
