Known to some as the “Iron Lady,” Golda Meir z”l was Israel’s fourth Prime Minister and only female leader to earn that title. Ben-Gurion University Canada (BGU Canada) is proud to present “Golda” the movie, ahead of the movie’s official release in theatres!

The film follows the real-life events that unfolded during the 1973 Yom Kippur War, as Golda navigates through the challenges of politics and war. Directed by Guy Nattiv and written by Nicholas Martin, this biographical drama premiered at the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival on February 20.
