Dear Friends,
I bring greetings on behalf of Ben-Gurion University this month for a Happy and Healthy Purim! The story of Purim is one of liberation and the triumph of good over evil. The timing of the holiday this year coinciding with the war in Ukraine should not be lost on any of us. In the spirit of helping, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) has launched the "Fund for Students and Researchers Affected by the War in Ukraine." Scroll down to learn more about how you can help.
Ben-Gurion University Canada (BGU Canada) has already begun our 2022 Passover Campaign. We are raising funds to support the Lillian and Larry Goodman Open Apartments Program at BGU. This program offers free rental units to students with financial need in exchange for community work within some of Be'er Sheva's most vulnerable communities. You will find more details below as well.
March is proving to be a very busy month in each of our regional offices. Planning for in-person events is well under way. Details are included in my video message above. We will be sending out regional e-blasts later this week, as well, so keep an eye out for those.
