ENDOWMENTS

An endowment is a long-term fund that is made up of a variety of financial, real estate or other investments. The purpose of this fund is to produce an annual payout for a specific purpose chosen by the person or people who have established the fund. It offers a permanent and often perpetual source of revenue, resulting in the ability for the organization to more accurately plan for the future. An endowment fund can be created through one-time donations or recurring payments.
